Max Hopewell Studio is a creative agency that specializes in creative consulting, interior and fashion styling, and interior decoration. The love of design is reflected in private residences, commercial spaces, and personal projects — working closely with clients, designers, architects, and contractors.
Project highlights include retail staging for the Parachute Home showroom in Minneapolis — putting a shine on bed, bath, home furnishings and window displays, in addition to furnishing and styling a lounge area for the Curtis Hotel lobby, and cocktail bar seating for The Corner Office restaurant in Denver.
Max Hopewell developed and executed the business concept and brand strategy for Café Max, with a Scandinavian inspired interior. Soon after opening in 2014, the cafe landed a spot on Denver’s “Best New Restaurants” list in Colorado’s lifestyle magazine 5280.
Inspired by the intimate bar scene on a visit to Japan in 2016, Max launched another food and beverage spot Bar Max. This venue emphasizes craft cocktails, live music, and performance art in a Bauhaus influenced interior. Bar Max remains a favorite in the Denver cocktail scene with mentions in the dinning digital platform Eater.
Max’s credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communications, and an Associate in Buying & Merchandising from the top-rated Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Next came a stint as an Associate supporting marketing teams at the public relations consulting firm Hill + Knowlton in their NYC offices. This followed seven years of work experience in retail at the famed Bergdorf Goodman department store, international fashion retailer Agnes.B, and luxury leather goods and accessories brand Ghurka.
